Hi--

Thanks for the error report.

Please give me more info.

1. Exact steps to reproduce the error. (I tried sending a spot from the Telnet window, and no problems.)

2. The version of LOGic that you are using (help/about). Was it introduced by the 9.1.7 update?

Dennis,

I am using the latest update 9.1.7, and every time I tried sending a spot I received this error message.

Dennis,

These errors didn't happen before loading 9.1.7

Hi--

Sorry for the delay on this. It took a while to research and "fix" it.

It turns out that the problem is apparently with the DXScape server, and coincidental with installing 9.1.7. I installed 9.1.6 and got the same error.

There was an error in LOGic that prevented it from properly reporting a server error. Install the 9.1.8, and it reports "ERROR CONNECTING" or something like that, coming from the DXScape server.

I will look into how to post a spot to DXScape. Perhaps you have to log in now or something. If anyone knows, please let me know.

Tnx & 73,

Hi Guys,

DXscape requires the callsign and password from the spotter along with the spotted stations info (callsign, freq, and remarks/comments). After clicking on "send spot" you get the pop-up window with the fields to be filled in. Jpeg attached.

Maybe after you post your first spot and successfully provide the proper callsign and password, it no longer asks for the callsign and password?

Anyway, it looks like a simple HTML form that does a POST. Shouldn't be a problem.

Went to sign up to post spots, and it won't let me use my email address. You have to use @ARRL.ORG @QTH.NET etc. So waiting for that to get set up.
