Hi Dennis,
I was trying to figure out why the installation of LOGic I had installed on my wife's (W5TAT) computer kept putting my call in the main log form operator screen, when it showed her call in station info. So, I think I may have found out why....I backed her logdata up, and wiped her installation out, so I could start over. Once I had things reinstalled, and I was configuring the log info page, I put her call in and got the attached error message. I was using my backed up license that Fe sent earlier this year.

Thanks

Hi--

Sorry for the problem.

Look in LOG/Setup, GENERAL tab, OPERATOR field. It overrides the setting in Station Info.

Please look at the license file logic.license. It is just a text file. See if W5TAT is listed. My guess it is an old license file. If so, I can make you a new one.

Let us know.

Thanks, Dennis. The license file shows both calls as "W5GA, W5TAT" exactly as I've typed them. And the call field in log/setup/general is blank, so it should default to the call in Tools/setup/station info, correct?

IF Log/Setup/General/Operator is blank.

So, after messing around a bit....it demands that I put both calls in the tools/setup/station info/your callsign box....just as spelled out in the license file; W5GA, W5TAT. It will not accept w5tat by itself. It will accept w5ga by itself. The same is true for log/setup/general/operator. I need it to accept W5TAT by itself.

OK, my fault. I remade the license file. Please re-download and re-install your update.

I apologize.

Tnx & 73,
