Hi Dennis.
I have a weird problem when setting up my TS-590 in LOGic9.
It works fine at 38400 baud and higher, but will not work on any Baud rate slower than that.
I run an SPE 1K-FA amp, which listens to the RS232 line between rig and PC for band information.
My problem, is that I need to run the TS-590 at 9600 Baud, as the SPE can't work any faster than that.
It works fine with my FT-5000, using the same setup.

That's a strange one. We had a problem early-on with LOGic 9 that it would not support 38400 and above, but that is fixed obviously.

Try using both the legacy and non-legacy driver and see if that makes a difference. Try changing stop bit settings.

Let me know.

Tnx & 73,

Hi Dennis.
I still have the error with the TS590. It won't work at a speed slower than 38400 baud.
When I try, it often crashes LOGic. I've attached pics of the error messages.

Ok, which driver are you using? Tell me exactly -- tell me the number in the dropdown list.

Are you using a USB=>RS232 adapter? WHich chipset does it use? (Look in the device manager).

Ooops! Sorry!.. I forgot the Com port info..
It's a two com port card.. Sunix chipset.
The FT5000, works OK at 4800 baud, with the same cable on the same comport.

Problem solved!.. I checked the com port at 9600 baud with the Yaesu, and it worked OK.
I moved the cable back to the Kenwood, and now it is also working at 9600!!
I have changed cables on that port a few times whilst troubleshooting.
I don't know what's going on here, but it would not work below 38400 before.
Sorry for the QRM Dennis, and thanks (again) for your help.
LOGic 9 seems to have few, if any, outstanding issues now. You've done a great job in sorting out
any problems that have arisen since it's release...and in double quick time too.
Thanks again, and sorry for the QRM

No Problem: I'll add Sunix to our blacklist hihi.

Try the new (non-legacy) Kenwood drivers pse. Let me know how they work.
