Somehow when I was resizing the Pegasus control panel, I got an error that I can't recover from. When I start the program I get:

Error with kachina505_ole_controlpanel-form - FonSize: Expression evaluated to an illegal value.

I get several similar errors as I hit Ignore, and eventually the program starts, but there is a huge version of the Pegasus control panel that can't be closed without crashing the program. How do I fix this?

Thanks

Ron,
Are you referring to the rig interface within LOGic? I don't have a Kachina or familiar with the Pegasus control panel.
Have you tried to turn off the rig interface and then back on?

Tools>Turn off radio & rotor interfaces
then
Tools>Reset or Turn On radio & rotor interfaces

If it's a control panel outside of LOGic this may not help. Did it work before? Recent upgrade?
Sorry if I'm not more helpful.

Kyle:

It's definitely within LOGic and the problem started when I tried to resize the radio interface window. The widow suddenly 'exploded' and is now something like 50 times the size it should be!

Can you right click on the top bar of the window and "SIZE" it?

I tried that and the window is so big, I can't get to the end of it! When I get close, the program crashes.

Sorry I am not familiar with the Ten Tec Pegasus Control Panel to help. When I search google I come up with N4PY software is this what you are using? I found one message about changing the X and Y for window size. Perhaps if there's a .ini file you can change to get the window back to normal. I'm at a lost, good luck.

Can't reproduce here, but I bet this will fix it. Go to the LOGic install folder (usually c:\program files (X86)\logic) and look for radio9.ini Look under the proper section (RADIO1, RADIO2...). Delete anything having to do with size or position.

Quote:

[Radio 2]
RTS=Yes
DTR=Yes
DriverID= 38
StopBits=2
Visible=Yes
FormHeight=358
FormLeft=146
FormTop=266
FormMore=Yes

Using mine as an example, you would want to delete the last 4 lines.

Tnx & 73,

That worked! Back to normal size now.
