DH Yes, Dennis, but I've had this problem for years. Ever since I started using a K3, I have always had crashing problems. I cannot speak for any other K3/LOGic users, though. I have ruled out the K3 (tried several) and you have ruled out the microHAM. I do have an RS-232 SteppIR "Y" cable attached to the system, connected to the SteppIR control box. I cannot remember at this time if I ever did any long term testing without it, but I will disconnect it and try. However, there are others with the same problem, and I doubt all of them have SteppIRs. BTW, the SteppIR control box just sits on the RS-232 line and "listens" to the traffic, it does not send any data. 73, Allen N5XZ
