I don't have that issue. I'm running LOGic 9.1.46 and TQSL 2.5.1 but I'm running on Windows 7 32 bit.

You w7 users are "lucky" as your not subject to the myriad of intrusive w10 updates, each making one cringe when re-booting.


Dennis,

Another LoTW upload today with the same un-closable window. Instead of just closing and re-launching LOGic I navigated to Tools/Setup/Misc Ham-setup like I was going to change something. When doing that LOGic closed all its open windows (including the frozen window) before displaying the Misc setup window, I hit "cancel" to that and LOGic re-opened as usual and the previously frozen LoTW Upload window remained closed. Not sure if this helps any.

UPDATE: I didnt think to look if the LoTW Upload window can be set to "Always Stay On Top", it can and mine was not. Setting it to Always Stay On Top I did another upload and it didnt freeze. Not sure if this is just a coincidence but try it. I'll report back if its "repeatable" at least for me.

Hi Brad,

I set the LoTW export window to "Always Stay On Top' as well. Out of curiosity, I checked the Import from LoTW and that one doesn't have that box checked off but then again, that window closes once QSO's are downloaded.

UPDATE: It worked twice and now, the Upload QSOs to LoTW window is still open and I can't close it unless I shut LOGic down completely.

Sorry its not repeatable.

After setting "Always stay on top" my third consecutive upload tonight went fine with the window closable at the conclusion of the upload. Dennis I'm sure will chime in and maybe he can get it to close automatically instead of it needing to be closed manually. If it happens to revert back to being "stuck" open I'll report back.
