Duplicate spots

I had to reinstall version 9 - bummer. I got everything working but why is the spot log showing the same spot 5 or 6 times? I think it has something to do with the QSL status but I am using the original data from the corrupt version 9 that I replaced. It is driving me nuts. Cursing Any ideas?

Cy,

If you didn't already, try the following;

1) Do an Awards Update either from "Tools" or "Awards", select "Update awards progress info".

2) Check the Spot Log window (at its very top left) and insure the box "Show all" isn't checked. If it is, deselect it.

3) Check the Spot Log window again and click on the Options tab, at the bottom of that is a prefilter section where you can define filters by band and mode. If you reinstalled you may have not gotten those filters set to what you previously had.

When I re-installed there were a couple things I forgot to do resulting in having to go back and find those screens again to "tweak".

FYI, (apologies if you already know) you will get multiple's of a spot depending on how many categories you need that spot for, i.e., band, mode, country, etc.. all dependent on how the prefilters are set-up.

Hope this helps, others may offer additional info as well, regardless scream if still an issue.
