If the MicroHam has COMPATIBLE drivers for Win 8, it should work exactly as it did on XP. BTW, the USB port on the 7600 (a built-in USB=>RS232 adapter works fine on Win 7. I assume it will on 8 also.) The manual tells you where to download the drivers. Worst case, get one of these: http://www.hosenose.com/...mp;PrimaryCatID=45& or http://www.hosenose.com/...mp;PrimaryCatID=45& Try the one in the rig first tho. You need a common USB A/B cable that you can borrow from your printer if you don't have an extra lying around. Tnx & 73, WN4AZY
