Today I finally decided to plug speakers into the computer I run LOGic on because I wanted to take advantage of the alert feature.

The alerts and announcements work just great. They do exactly what the help section says they will do.

I was very surprised to hear the chime or ding that comes on when both the sent and received RST are entered into the Main Log form.

Is there a way to turn them off? I can find no mention of them in the help files.

Thanks for the help,

Bill

G'Day,

No "beeps" here. Logic 9.0.53.

You may be hearing the "BEEP" - when "typing fills field".

Look in Tools, Options, Application.

You can help by posting images of any errors and including your Logic version.

Hi Peter,

Wow!!! You nailed the problem (for me anyway) right on the head.

I only operate CW and was filling the RST fields which caused the beep.

Unchecking the box you suggested stopped that right away.

Thanks so much for the help.

Bill
