I have been exporting out of LOGic to multiple XLS files for some time and it works except I have always had to open the XLS file in Excel and save it as XLSX or Excel will not allow me to link/import it to another XLSX Workbook. Can LOGic be updated to have the option to export to XLSX ?? The ability to save to a later version Excel file format would save a ton of time.

If anyone has a better way to export data for linking to an Excel Workbook/Worksheet please share. I'm using Office 365 latest version.

Brad

Dennis help me set up a command to export to an xls file

1. Tools
2. Advanced >> Database Commands
3. Type in "use log" then Enter
4. Paste this or an edited version of this line:
export to ("c:\export_"+ttoc(datetime(),1)+".xls") type xls for qso_date>={^2022-06-14} fields call,qso_date,time_on,rst_sent,rst_rcvd,mode,freq,band,state,dxcc,pwr,grid,userfields
5. Press Enter
6. You will find file in C:/ drive

I think you could change .xls to .xlsx (in the first instance only)
