Today I tried to update to LOGic 10.0. I keep getting the following error:

Program error

Variable is not found
USERFLDS2 is not found

I was not able to ignore the error until after I deleted all the index files.

Hi--

Yes, that is the new field to hold the additional userfield data. It normally gets installed whenever you do a Clean and restart LOGic. Installing the update should force a Clean, which basically deletes all the .cdx files. So not sure what happened.

Anyway, you did the right thing. I trust all is well now?

Dennis,

Yes, all is well now.

I have multiple logs in multiple directories. It looks like the installer didn't know about the index files in the other directories. I manually deleted all the index files and all is well.

Ok, I guess I need to make a better way to CLEAN alternate databases!

Tnx & 73,
