LOGic crashing is still an issue here. While attempting to download from LoTW this morning, I got no response from LoTW. When trying to exit the module, LOGic froze and crashed. I have found that in far too many instances, when there is an issue similar to this, LOGic crashes, rather than simply displaying an error message, as it should. After crashing, beside time lost and having to repack, often many of the existing windows have to be reloaded. See attached screenshots for what LOGic looks like after some crashes, including todays.
Is there are problem with LoTW this morning, or is this another LOGic issue. It was working fine yesterday.
File Attachment(s):
2020.03.22 Screen before LOGic crash.PNG (300kb) downloaded 33 time(s).
2020.03.22 Screen after another LOGic crash.PNG (286kb) downloaded 25 time(s).

A follow-up to this is that if the last QSO wasn't actually saved, or logged via the FT8/WSJT function, the call is lost, which is another problem. I think QSOs logged with the WSJT function should be securely saved after each logged contact.

Hi--

LOGic hung, not actually crashed, right?

I suppose the LoTW could be slow to respond. How long did you wait? I'll look and see what the timeout is set to or if I have any control of that. I just tried it hoping to reproduce the problem, and no error.

. Done! It will be in the next update.

I guess I didn't make myself very clear. LOGic did CRASH when I tried to exit the window. The second screen shows what windows opened (or rather didn't open) after I restarted LOGic.

LOGic seems to crash when something is not right. For example, I was doing an awards update a while ago and when I clicked on the window to stop it, LOGic crashed, and again with the same results, most windows closed after restarting.

So is LoTW download working for you now?

Thanks. I think it is a response time/timeout (or lack there of) issue.

There was about a 30-second delay, but it went ahead and downloaded everything.
