Hello,

I recently updated the firmware in my WinKeyer USB to version 3.01.02 as shown in
the attached Winkeyer tools image capture.

When I bring up the WinKeyer form in Logic I get the message in the attached Winkeyer
form screen capture.

Seems like the Winkeyer firmware update changed something.

I should say that I'm using Logic Version 9.1.42.

Thanks,

Mike - WB4HUC

Hi Mike:

Sorry for the problem.

Please download and install 9.1.42 again. It will now display what is actually being returned by WinKeyer, and will ignore the bad return value and attempt to continue. Try that and see what happens.

Also, if you can provide a link to the documentation for the new firmware, that would be great.

Tnx & 73,

The Winkeyer USB is now working. Thanks for the quick update.

Here is the link to the Winkeyer firmware update:

https://www.k1elsystems.com/WinKeyer_31.html

Apparently there are two or three models of hardware, and there is a different update file for each
hardware version. My keyer is the Winkeyer with the SMT IC.

Thanks,

Hello Mike,
I have always used HamGadgets' Masterkeyer MK-1 with Logic9, but after your post about the USB Winkeyer I had the curiosity to try.
I attach some screenshots before and after updating the USB Winkeyer with the Logic update.
All OK but the strange thing that the Firmware turns out to be version 85. It also happens to you ??

Hello Mike,
thank you for the confirmation.
I had the chance to try the Winkey v31 (RTTY) with other contest programs and Logbook but the reading of the version is correct.
If you have time try it yourself so that we have cross-checks.
However important it works and if the version number is projected towards the future it is better so we can say that we are at the forefront. (Winkeyer UFO 85) Eheheh

Thanks Mauro
