Thanks for the screen shot.
When do you get the error? Are you still in LOGic, or does the updater downloader appear?
Try running UPDATER.EXE. It runs outside LOGic. Type UPDATER in the Win 10 Cortana thing, or in the start menu under LOGic.

Ok, try clicking RETAIN FILE AFTER INSTALLATION. It will still error, but you can manually run it from the desktop -- hopefully. Or copy it somewhere else to run it. It sounds like the permissions for the desktop got messed up.
