I am planning on adding a dongle based pan adapter to my TS-570. I will probably be using HDSDR and OmniRig to interface with the radio. Has anyone done this while concurrently using Logic? I am curious as to what functionality I will be losing in Logic. Will it still read and log frequency and mode from the radio? Or will the OmniRig connection mess up the connection to Logic? Any insights, suggestions or other input would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Bob, If you haven't searched and seen it already take a look at Hasan's article under Radio-and-Rotor-Interfacing-Help-and-Troubleshooting, titled "Omni-Rig > HDSDR (SDRPlay) > LOGic 9 Panadapter and Logging!" http://www.hosenose.com/...dapter-and-Logging.aspx
Its a good and pretty detailed article only a couple months old. Be sure to let us know how it works out !! I haven't gone the HDSDR dongle route as yet.....its on the bucket list. 73, de Brad N8GLS
