I have the band map in spotlog configured to ignore all vhf and higher bands, with the bands disabled and spotlog told to not process spots for these bands. When I log in to a telnet site, and do a sh/dx, if there are 6m and up spots it will still process and display these spots even though I said not to.

Ok, are they just showing up in the band map, but not the spot log?

Double-check the band table to make sure PROCESS SPOTS FOR THIS BAND is unchecked. Note that there is more than one entry for most bands (CW & Phone). They all must be turned off.

Dennis, exactly backwards. They show in the dx spots IN SPITE of what is set up in the band table.

Strange, can't reproduce that here. I unchecked PROCESS SPOTS FOR THIS BAND for both 6-meter segments, ran test spots, and no spots appeared. I tried it with and without the band enabled. I exited and restarted LOGic after changing the band table. Not sure if this is necessary or not.

Call me and I can log in and see if I see anything. 770-307-1496.

Dennis, it only does this when you initially log in to any given telnet site and there are already v/uhf spots available. After that, if a v/uhf spot shows up on the telnet site, you don't see it.
