Hi Dennis,
My setup :
Desktop with XP SP3
Laptop with XP SP3
Laptop with Win 7

This is my experience on SPOT LOG window with announcement options.

In my logic9 configuration startup are active the telnet1 and Spot Log windows with the setting of the announcement by voice.
#1: In systems with XP SP3 connecting the VE7CC cluster the voice announces the word "Watch", when appears in telnet1 window "*** watch***:connect, and announces only the word "DX" at the first spot received. In "CW" instead transmits only "DXCC" at the first spot received and then absolute silence. After a few announcements with only sporadically "DXCC" or "CQZ".
#2: In the system with Win7 everything works fine in voice than cw.

Point out that in systems with XP Logic8 operating normally both voice and cw.

Thanks

Ok, first of all, we left out the Male files, so it may have been skipping every other file if Alternate was checked for sex. They are in the new update.

Do the test buttons work OK?

CW only says DXCC or CQZ or CONT or the like. Very brief. No change from LOGic 8. Does seem the word spacing is off though--will look at that.

Tnx & 73,
