I had Logic9 working but now when I try to start it, get the attached error messages. If I click thru the error windows using "cancel", the program quits. Tried re-installing and same result. So can't use Logic anymore....

I tried to attach a PDF of the screen shot but this forum gives error that PDFs are not allowed!!! Seems like that really inhibits our ability to share documents, including screen shots.

I fixed the forum to accept PDFs. Haven't tested it yet.

I'll call you later and get LOGic 9 running.

Ok, looks like the missing UNACTIVATD field error is caused by copying over the LOGic 8 lists.dbf file.

I put an install startup script in the update to fix this.

Thanks Dennis. The fix enables v9 to install now. Am I correct that during the upgrade process we should copy the Logic8 LISTS and PREFIX files into the Logic9 directory? I don't see any functions for import or migrate from v8.

We redid the lists and prefixes table, including USSR changes and ST0.

We don't recommend it, but you can copy them if you want to.

The lists table has new tables for FFMA and CQ Field which are not downloadable. So unless you don't care about these, you could export them to somewhere, copy your table, and import. Or better yet export your custom lists from LOGic 8 and import into 9. Thre are buttons on the lists form for this purpose.

Tnx & 73,
