Ok, the first thing I see is that you mention Challenge in your text, but the header of the Progress window shows just plain old DXCC. Click SEL in the Progress window, and select the Challenge subaward. I don't see the Subaward column in your screen shot, but I am assuming it is Challenge because you say it is hihi.
Also, check SPOT LEVEL in Options. It will affect the coloring. The most conservative option is QSL HAS BEEN RECEIVED.
Also, this doesn't come up very often, but I will mention it. The coloring of a spot record is accurate as of the time the spot is received. If you receive a spot and need KG4 on Phone, Phone will be red. If you then go and enter a card for a KG4 phone QSO, the Progress form will reflect that, but the spot log will not until you receive a new KG4 spot.
Note that you can test easily using the TEST SPOT feature of the spot lot.
