I hope this is the right spot for this post. After much deliberation, I decided to purchase an Icom 7600.
The interface works nicely with the Icom interface choice.

Everything works perfectly, except for one rather important item - although the frequency displays properly and changes as I move the VFO, when I log a new contact, it logs the frequency of the previous QSO! No, I don't have the program set to carry forward the frequency.

I am assuming it might be something in the interface, but it is possible that I inadvertently changed something else when I set up the radio. Most malfunctions can be traced to operator error, and that is probably true of my problem.

Any suggestions?

Looks like my diagnosis was correct - operator error - I was not pushing tab on completion of the form.

When I did, the frequency changed.

Sorry for using the bandwidth.

Anyway, I proved once again the LOGic is smarter than I am!

No problem, bandwidth is cheap. You figured it out, so that makes YOU smarter, right?

Tnx & 73,

Dennis
