LOGic 9 wants to install into C:\Program Files (x86)\LOGic instead of C:\Program Files\LOGic on my new HP 64 bit machine. Does that matter. Both folders exist.

In Windows 7 64-bit "Program Files" is for 64 bit programs and "(x86)" for 32 bit programs. Some installers don't follow this convention properly but it looks like Logic 9 is working as it should.

This is normal. Not sure what would happen if you tried to install LOGic 9 in C:\program files on a 64-bit machine. Probably nothing, but it should go into c:\program files (x86) by default on 64-bit machines.

The insatallation instructions mentions that where it actuallyu goes depends on your version of Windows, but I will clarify.

Tnx &73,
