LOTW Upload fails on Win XP/Internet Explorer 8

Apparently the ARRL changed their web site so that it no longer works with Internet Explorer 8. This is the latest version that XP can be upgraded to.
There is no way to change LOGic to use Chrome or Firefox. They do not have the programmatic control interface that LOGic needs.
The best solution at this point is to go thru the motions with LOGic 8. It will not upload of course, but look in the PROGRAM FILES\LOGIC\TMP folder. You will find a .TQ8 file here. Upload it to the ARRL manually using another browser of your choice.
The only remaining task is to update the log file to tell it that the QSOs have been uploaded.
Go to tools/advanced/database commands. Type the following commands, pressing {Enter} after each command:
USE LOG
REPLACE ALL LOTW_SENT WITH .T.
