ARRL has changed the URLs for access to upload and download to LotW. Can I make URL changes to Logic 9 to access LotW, or does it require an update? How do I do it if an update is not required? George

May have answered my own question(s). Had to renew my LotW certificate, so I downloaded TQSL V2.0.1 and submitted a renewal request. A little bit later I tried again to upload my log from this weekend and did so with no problems. Then I did a download and it worked also. Answer to problem may be to download TQSL V2...

Just get the latest LOGic 9 update. It has the proper URL.

I don't check in here as much as I should. I believe that you have ceased support on Version 8. Can you tell me where to change the LoTW link? Or do I need to do adif uploads instead. 73 de NT5A Bob

Unfortunately the URL is hard-coded.

LOGic 8 folks can still use LOGic to process the QSOs. Just do like you normally do. When the upload fails, look in the LOGic8\tmp folder. You should find a .TQ8 file in there. Just manually upload that using the LoTW web site.

We no longer update LOGic 8, but I am supporting it now hihi.

Dennis are these the server URL's you have programmed into LOGic9 for the LoTW uploads and downloads?

LoTW upload URL: https://LoTW.arrl.org/lotwuser/upload?login=

LoTW download URL: https://LoTW.arrl.org/lo...r/lotwreport.adi?login=

ARRL website says these are new URL's.

Yes, I double-checked my code and these are the URLs being used. Why do you ask, are you having problems?

Dennis,

I get a "login failed. A browser will appear with login results" message at least once daily trying to log into LotW. Sometimes it can take over 3 tries to log into LotW.

Ron,

I have exactly the same problem. You will find it gets much worse in the evenings and on weekends.

The cause of the problem is inadequate servers at the ARRL. For some reason they are not adding capacity fast enough to take care of LoTWs growth. They identified the problem around September of last year. They keep saying they are working on it but I sure don't see the results.

73,

Bill
