This article explains how to set LOGic up to automatically log the DXCC country name in a user-defined field.
First, it should be noted that the Info window displays the current DXCC country name as you log new QSOs or browse existing QSOs. Also, holding the mouse on top of the DXCC field (the one that logs the DXCC Prefix) shows the country name. The DXCC country name is redundant information, and we do not recommend logging it. However, if you want to for some reason, it can be done.
Set up a user-defined field to hold the country name. For this example, we named ours simply "Country", with a description of "Country Name". Place it on the log form as usual. Close and reopen the log form, or close and reopen LOGic.
Now, click on Log/Setup. Go to the Copy From Prefix Table tab. In the To column, select COUNTRY [USER]. In the From column, type PREFIX.DXCC.
Enjoy!
