State not showing up in spot log

My cluster provides the state of the spotted station but it is not showing in the "state" field of the spot log. Could you suggest how to fix this?

Hi Bob:

There is no standard for sending states with spots. They must be putting the state in the comment area, and LOGic does not attempt to get State from there. It tries to get IOTA, split, etc, but not state. Post a few sample spots here please. If it is clearly marked in some way we can do it.

That said, LOGic DOES look up the state of the station being spotted as well as the station doing the spotting using the LOGic internal callbook. Update that using Tools/Internet/Import FCC Callbook and you should be in business.
