About the only time you want a separate log is for other family members or DXPeditions. A good rule of thumb is, if it counts for your DXCC, it goes in the same log. This includes contests BTW. Just log the proper call in the OPERATOR field. It will persist until you change it or close the log form. In Awards/Update Awards Progress Info there is a cutoff date to handle DXCC.
