I used Logic 9 in the IOTA contest. When I generated the Cabrillo log the last digit of the IOTA number was not included on the report. I am referring to the report received when working an island station. There is a signal report received, an serial number received, and an IOTA number received when an island is worked. Is there a fix for this. (This may only be a problem with CW contacts (2 more digit places are needed for the signal report sent and received versus phone contacts.))

Thanks, Larry NU4B

Hi Larry--

Good to hear from you.

Cabrillo layout is easy to change in LOGIc 9. On mine the last digit of the received iota was truncated. I have fixed it and attached to this message. Please unzip into the logic\logdata\logforms folder.

Tnx & 73,

Hey Denis,
I noticed now that there is no space between the QSO date and time. EX: 29-07-121042
I don't know if that's a problem when they read the log, but I manually went through and spaced the date and time for each QSO.

I didn't look at it close yesterday, but I noticed it today when I went to submit my log. I guess I really don't need the fix until next year. BigGrin

Sorry for the problem. The fix is attached.

For future reference, this sort of thing is easy to fix. Edit IOTA.CABRILLO and add the line I hilited in yellow.

Tnx & 73,

Dennis WN4AZY

Thanks Dennis. You know I really never tried playing around with the Cabrillo files. But I will play around with it especially for some of the contests I do that aren't listed.

Thanks again and 73,
Larry NU4B
