I updated to 10.0.4 which now includes the POTA values for awards tracking. I had previously setup a user field for POTA and now I'm trying to figure out how to get the POTA field to show the drop down with the POTA values. I've searched the forum post but haven't hit the correct answer. So, any advise would be appreciated.

Click on Tools>Setup>Logging Fields, Spotting, Award Tracking

Select POTA and Enable and Save
Now from the LOG - MAIN screen click on the little man icon in the bottom right of screen to select User-defined fields.

Select the next (none)
Select POTA
Click Select
Click OK

From here you should have a drop down menu on your logging screen. ??

Kyle, thanks for the reply but I already have a user defined field for POTA that I added as you describe to the log form. I assumed after the update it would have a drop down lit like the IOTA field etc. I figure I'm still missing some setting to add that to the existing user defined field.

Hi--

Go to tools/setup/log fields. Retrieve the POTA field. Checkmark EDIT USING LISTS TABLE.

Thanks for your help with this. BTW, I did another import that includes the lat/lon and country code in the comment. Just install 10.0.4 again.

I get an error as follows

"non-edited data already exists in the list table for POTA

List not permitted

If you want to create a list edit for this field, go to the list form and convert the POTA list to a regular list, or delete it and type in a new list."

Hacked around but couldn't find the where to convert it.

I'll install 10.0.4 again.

OK, sorry.

Go to tools/setup/log fields, navigate to POTA, then delete the POTA list. Reinstall 10.0.4 to reinstall the POTA list. Be sure to select the option to install new lists.

Now you can change EDIT USING LISTS TABLE.

Tnx/73,
