I will be participating in the Hiram Percy Maxim operating event as W8JY/150, and have received a certificate so I can upload those qsos to LOTW.
LOGic is my first choice for general logging, but does not do as well as some contest logging programs. I am planning to use the N3FJP program for that contest.

Since I will obviously have to import the adif file to LOGic, it raises a couple of questions.
1. Will the contest callsign be imported to the operator field?
2. If so, will those qsos be exported to LOTW with the contest call?

These contacts will be good for all awards using my original call sign, I do not want to use a separate database.

Does anyone have any experience with this kind of thing?

Thanks,

Jess, W8JY

Hi Jess:

Look at the ADIF output from N3FJP and see if it contains the operator. If so, that can be imported into LOGic. You can change the ADIF name that is expected in the input file in tools/log fields....

If N3FJP does not include your callsign, then it can be updated in LOGic after import.

Let me know if any questions. Tnx for using LOGic.
