I just did an Awards Update and got two exceptions that are shown in the attached file.

I do not have access to this information on my main logging page.

How do I correct this?

Thank you,

Bill,
Not sure how you got that data in to the log. Were they imported from another program?

Anyway, the exception list says they are not in the list of valid values.

As to the AS-200, RSGB's website says that there are no approved activations. http://www.rsgbiota.org/info/search.php?q=as-200
QRZ.COM list his address as within the Kagawa Prefecture (one of 180+ islands that count) but
perhaps no one has done whatever is required to get approved?

Remove the IOTA from the QSO. As I track IOTA, I modified my 'Main' log form to show that
field. You might just open the USERFIELDS log form, edit the box in the upper right, save, then
close this additional form. Update the awards in progress when you finish editing.

Likewise, there is no USA-CA Award county. In my CQ County Award book, Alaska has 4 'districts.'
Kenai Peninsula, south of Anchorage, probably counts as South Central. CQ may update their award
list so all 29 counties are seperate entries though their website still only lists the total as 3077.

For now, open the USERFIELDS log form as above and remove the county.

Some other county hunter expert here may be of more help.

Hello Bill,
to me is the same thing happened with TA0/DF8DX, as you can see in one of the screenshots attached. DF8DX writes in qrz.com to be a reference IOTA AS-201.
As your example AS-200 is not yet activated.
I proceeded as follows:

TOOLS / SETUP / LIST OF VALID VALUES / IOTA
Ctrl + N to add a new record
Fill in field name with "IOTA"
Write "AS-200" in the Value fiels and "Shikoku's Coastal Islands" (I think) in the description field. Remember to flag option unactivated (see screenshot)
Run a database maintenance and you will have no more error in Logic.

The next post the solution I adopted for Alaska.

Hello All,

I am having similar issues with my recent upgrade to LOGic 9 from LOGic 8. When I was running LOGic 8.0.42, I didn't have any rejected stations. I now have many US stations rejected because the county does not show up on the CNTY list but I don't track US counties.

I even un-hid the CNTY fields in my log and none of the stations in my rejected list have a county listed on the log. I can see the county on the log-MAIN browse page but not on the main log. Any idea how to correct this?

Thank you,
Vin

Hi--

This is easy to correct.

What is happening is that if an invalid value gets logged for a field with a dropdown list of fields, the invalid value does not display. In this case a bad county is coming from the callbook.

You can see the invalid entry by hovering the mouse on top of the dropdown.

To fix, click the dropdown, then click the NONE selection.

Hi Dennis,

That worked GREAT ! Took care of all the US stations. Now I need to work on the old STØ stations that have been rejected by LOGic 9.

Thank you !

It can probably be done en masse. Send me an example of how the county data is currently stored.

You can see the raw user-defined field data with the USERFIELDS log form. (Forms/Log form). Copy and paste the USERFIELDS data to a message.
