I'll start by saying that I LOVE LOGic 9. Been using it for LOGic for 8 years now and Dennis has always come through. Here's my situation. I just got a new iMac (no boo's from the peanut gallery). I'm running Windows 8.1 in a virtual machine. This setup has worked fine on my Macbook (except that there I was running Win 7) and LOGic had no problems. I just installed LOGic 9, started it up and it worked fine. Then I did the latest update (60 I think) and that was good too. Then I restored my current log from a backup (LOGic backup) and now LOGic gives me some strange errors. "OLE error code 0x800a139b: Unknown COM status code." If I hit ignore, it just pops back up. If I hit cancel then I get a GLOBAL is not an object error. If I hit cancel for that (the only button that works) then the program just quits. Interestingly, this only happened after I restored the log, not before. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for the help!

... check the callbook config, especially those NOT using an XML subscription.

You can help by posting images of any errors and including your Logic version.

Yeah, turn off QRZ.COM for sure.

What action do you take just before the error occurs? Or does it happen when starting the program? Is that the first error you get?

Send me a copy of your backup (attach it to a post, or email it to dh at youknowwere.com if you don't want the world to see it), and I will load it here. If I can reproduce it, we are golden.

Tnx & 73,
