When I send a spot for a station in the log, it puts the spot out twice. Local echo is off.

I assume you are using a Telnet cluster. Which host? Do other ones do it? I have had no reports of this -- may be a problem with the cluster.

Local echo wouldn't cause the cluster to send it twice. If it was on and didn't need to be it would appear twice on your screen is all -- NOT the transmission from the cluster, but your transmission TO the cluster. EVERYTHING you type would be duplicated in fact.

The cluster is dxc.ab5k.net
If it was a cluster problem, everybody's spots would show twice, not just mine, right? I'll try a couple others tomorrow and see what happens.

True...

I posted from the spot button on the telnet form, typed the command in the transmit window, and from Broadcast spot from the spot log. No problems.

Maybe call me and I can log in and look.

Dennis, interestingly enough this problem stopped when I changed clusters. Went back to AB5K, and it started double posting again. No idea what's going on here.
