I want to do something to better support Global QSL, Clublog and the like.

There is potentially no end to the number of organizations that you may want to send your QSOs to. So I want to create a generic, user-configurable solution.

Here is what I envision: You set up "upload entities" in LOGic -- GQSL or Club Log or for instance. A list would be kept of every QSO exported to a configured entity.

To cause the QSO to be exported, it could be manual (check a checkbox as would be the case for GQSL, or automatic where everything is sent that hasn't already been sent (Club Log). Cyber BB LoTW Users list is already supported, but this facility could be used for that too. Just have a filter to automatically export LOTW RCVD = FULFILLED and hasn't been sent already.

This facility could be used not just to send QSOs to different places, but create any grouping or list of arbitrary QSOs. I'm thinking maybe using it to handle "submitted to ARRL" or other award submissions.

Waddya think?

Hello Dennis and Allen,
I think it is a good idea. A further opportunity to choose how to sort and manage the QSL service, then wait for the birth of this new.
THanks Dennis

Dennis,

Another reminder on this option, also. I just got a 6-1/2" stack of QSLs from the bureau and a GQSL tool would REALLY be appreciated.

Thanks,

Hi Dennis,

Thanks for adding a neat new feature to Logic. Please when you add it don't take away the current LoTW upload feature. As much as I don't like all of the boxes I have check/fill-in to upload I've got it down now. Being an old guy fixed in my ways I don't want to see the current LoTW upload/download changed!!!

Thanks for thinking of us old guys,

Bill

It won't affect LoTW or eQSL.

The main purpose of this facility will be to have a way to keep track of what has been uploaded to where and what hasn't. It will generate the ADIF file for you, but won't automatically upload. Plus LoTW has the Fort-Knox-grade security, which hopefully no one else will adopt. And eQSL has pictures.

Tnx & 73,

Dennis,

Sorry to be a late shoe-in, but, my 2 cents is....what a great feature!!
Can't say enough about this software and your dedication to it, still beats all others.

I would love to be able to upload to Club Log from Logic. Presently I have to export a file of contacts since my last upload to Club Log and then manually upload the file to Club Log. This works but it is not as nice as automatic uploads to LOTW. Hope to see this soon. 73, Frank K6FW. LOGIC user since 2008.

Dennis,

When are you going to come through with this feature? We have been talking about it literally for years now!

Also wondering about the RTTY support, we've been talking about that for a long time, too.

At least give us some sort of status (progress) report. C'mon!

Signed, one of your (still) loyal users (customers).

Hi--

I am sorry, and appreciate your continued support.

All I can say at this point is that we are rearranging some priorities to have more time to devote to LOGic. I haven't forgotten!

I was planning to be working on it now, but got caught up in a RAID failure on our web server, and then Win 10 issues. I have found time to code on LOGic however.

Thanks again & 73,

Dennis WN4AZY

OK, Dennis. Now it has been yet another four months.

Is there ANY progress you can report on RTTY support and Global QSL support?? Do you remember when we starting talking about this? Probably close to three years now.

If I had to pick one, I would like RTTY support so I don't have to use DM-780 every time I want to make RTTY contacts and manually enter each contact in LOGic.

Just my 2 cents BigGrin
