Dennis...couple more observations...
1) In Telnet, if I use the "Promptresponse" mode, the telnet site that I use and have been using for years) tells me that my callsign is illegal. It looks ok in the Telnet window though.
2) In Station Setup if I click in the call sign window (my call sign is hardwired there...) and then try to exit it tells me that I can't change the callsign even though I didn't change anything.
3) If I enable a "*** Connect" Watch from Tools>Setup>Misc...when Telnet connects, the message echos into the telnet window and is interpreted by the Telnet host as my call sign.
Any thoughts on how to address the above?
