G'Day,

These errors are because of changes made at DX Summit - out of the control of LOGic.

Use Telnet if you wish to access cluster spots.

Dxsummit now works. Error message 1925 not show up. Did nothing. Have not changed to newdxsummit. However it will not auto update every 5 min as requested. Must manual update. John

G'Day,

Yes - no error 1925 here either. It sprang back into life here at VK4 as well - but. Lets not "count our chickens" yet.

Only Dennis can say if the protocol has been completely restored to its previous definition. The DX Summit technical information page is unavailable so it is also difficult for anyone to "update their code" to match the new protocol defined at DX Summit - what ever it is.

The timed update does not occur here either, so there is still a part missing - well, lost at DX Summit, would be closer to reality.

Patience - or a switch to a Telnet feed from an Internet cluster - is needed.

DX Summit now has the option to send CSV, XML, and JSON. We will be implementing that. Will make things a lot smoother.

As soon as I read that DX Summit was changing their format (saw the notice on [OPDX] Ohio/Penn DX Bulletin) I was sure we were in for trouble. It didn't take long for the other shoe to fall. I'm now using DXSCAPE but it doesn't accept my spots. Oh well, I have patience and hopefully the problems will be worked out soon.

The software jungle never ceases to amaze me.

Jim

Having the same issue here today. Doesn't seem to matter which browser I have enable i get the message from DX Summit that the browser needs to be updated. Fortunately DXSCAPE is working fine.

I'm sure Dennis will pull another rabbit out of his hat.
