Hi All,
Is it possible, through the import of a file .ADI, to update data into some fields into existing qsos in logbook archive?
Logic does not seem to check the existence of a QSO but only rewrites a duplicate.
I ask this question because I wanted to help by LOTW to avoid updating all accredited by the ARRL QSO manually. I started doing it but it is a very heavy work in terms of time.
I would like to use the file adif ARRL Logbook of the World DXCC QSL Report Card that has this syntax:

<CALL:5> VE1UK
<QSO_DATE:8> 19940820
<APP_LoTW_MODEGROUP:4:S> DATE
<APP_LoTW_MODE:4:S> DATE
<BAND:3> 20M
<DXCC:1> 1
<COUNTRY:6> CANADA
<CREDIT_GRANTED:24> DXCC DXCC_MODE, DXCC_BAND
<APP_LoTW_CREDIT_GRANTED:42:S> DXCC-M-RTTY DXCC, DXCC-20-CHAL DXCC, DXCC-5B
<eor>

G'Day Mauro,

I hope my Australian English is OK for you.

Sorry, Mauro, it is not possible with the tools as they are.

Clearly something similar to what you want is being done with the ADIF file downloaded from eQSL or LOTW when we use QSLing, Import eQSL QSLs or Import LOTW QSLs.

But, that QSLing code is not available as a general tool.

Hello Peter ,
I already know the answer but the hope is always the last to die .
I started to update the QSOs credited with LOTW manually for DXCC Mixed, CW , DATA , PHONE and there are not many .
I have adopted the system to include in the COMMENT field strings as :
LDX: LDD: LDP: LDC: Accretited QSOs to LOTW as mixed , date, phone and cw .
DXL: DDL: DPL: DCL: Qsos to be credited in LOTW as mixed , date, phone and cw .
In fact, when I print the report with the logic for dxcc entities in LOTW i have the same response .

When we send our QSOs to LOTW, the ARRL has our complete logs of any significant informations which is processed and some QSOs are used for the various awards and are listed in this file adif that I mentioned .
Why you can not do the reverse path with the data provided by LOTW in a file adif to redraw our archive logs?

I believe that a specific program can afford to upgrade all QSOs in our log with LOTW qsos accredited as useful for the awards .

The other alternative is to upgrade to hand the COMMENT field with subawards recommended by dennis or other custom .

I hope to have been exhaustive in the description. Of course my Italian - English is not comparable to your English - Australian but important , in the end , try to use the best , the tool that Dennis provides to us.

My best 73's and Merry X-Mas and HNY 2014

Fine Mauro.

I suggest you make a TOPIC in Logic Updates, Logic Enhancements, requesting the "reverse processing" for awards from LOTW as a new feature within LOGic.
