Got the attached error message and the program crashed. I had just worked a station and entered the callsign of another station. Got the error message and hit "cancel". The program quit instantaneously and when I restarted it, I did not have to do a clean, the program came back up WITH the new callsign or the new contact...usually when it crashes like this (and I get FAR too many crashes, BTW), the callsign field is blank.

File Attachment(s):
LOGic error.pdf (10kb) downloaded 35 time(s).

Hi Allen--

It looks like some recursive function didn't stop calling itself. What were you doing in LOGic (if anything) at the time this occurred?

Tnx & 73,

Normal activity. I had just made a contact and was making another. Likely I hit the "+" button to do so. It's possible (though I cannot recall exactly) that I had also just selected a call from the spot log and hit the button to move the rig to that frequency.

Hope this helps.

Hmmm...I didn't even read my original post. However, likely I did as listed in the previous post just before I entered the new call and pressed tab.

It's hard to fix something like this that can't be reproduced :-(
