Hello Dennis,

A question that I wanted to submit, however, was on the CTRL + N command in the logmain form. I do not know if the command CTRL + N is used by Logic for other functions in other forms. Undoubtedly, at the operational level would be appropriate, having any active window on the desktop, when the operator wishes to add a call to make an immediate QSO, pressing the CTRL + N, the logic should place the cursor in the call field on the logmain form. Again, only the Ctrl + N should have this priority.
It is often easier and speedy to type CTRL + N to take the mouse and click in the field of callname.
Do you think that this can be useful for logic9 users?
Thank you for your attention.

Hi Mauro:

No problem on the wrong topic. It was easy to move.

Ok, so you are saying to make Ctrl+N active to add a new QSO even when the log form is not active?

There are some problems with doing this. Ctrl+N is used to add records to other data forms as well. And secondly you can have more than one log form open. So which one do you activate and add to? LOGic does always have an active log form -- the last one selected, so that is not a problem other than confusing people "I wanted it to add to the OTHER log form"

Anyway, it is a good idea. The devil is always in the details hihi. We need keyboards with about 100 function keys!

Comments are welcome.

Tnx & 73,

Dennis WN4AZY

Hi Dennis,
very comprehensive answer.
Having said that I did not know if the Ctrl + N had other functions.
Now that I have confirmed the news and the existence of problems of implementation,
I withdraw my request and thank you for your availability to this poor devil ;)
