Has anyone tried to Run LOGic 9 on a Mac using the Crossover program? This is a program designed to run Windows applications on a Mac. It is a legal program sold by Codeweavers.com.

Thanks,

I'm running Logic and TRX manager in Windows 8 under Parallels Desktop on my MacBookPro Retina without any problems.
I have not tried Crossover, but Parallels Desktop is far better, as its more flexible.

Ok, actually I was misinformed about Crossover. Someone is going to try it. If you try it and it works, please go to the link in the post above and mark LOGic as working.

Apparently Crossover is the most inexpensive way to run Windows stuff on a Mac.

Sorry but I don't think I will try out Crossover.
Parallels Desktop i what I use. With Parallels Desktop you can run any version of Windows, DOS, Linux, all in MAC OS X. And of course any program you need. It just works.

Ok, FB -- and I am told that it works on Boot Camp & VMWare too. Now that Mac uses intel processors, it is much easier.

BigGrin I have installed Windows 7 Ultimate on my Mac Mini using Boot Camp and I have LOGic 9 running on it. I am controlling an Elecraft K2, An Orion 2800PCX, and a Prosystel D. with it, using a USB to 8 port serial by SIIG.

My TenTec Orion II is in the factory for maintenance at the moment, but I anticipate no problems running that radio with the same setup.

Now if I could just find my old data from the hard drives left over from when my PC died --- (sigh).

Dennis has been very patient and helpful with me through this process. Thanks Dennis.

ps -- I am at my son's house for Christmas and have this Mac Mini with me. We are installing a DROBO backup system. Perhaps I am not too old to learn something.
