Dennis, I'm trying to figure out how to do a new report that will show me how many all time new DXCC entities I've worked after a certain date. For purposes of this report, I don't care about QSL status.

For example, using the stock DXCC report, I show that I've worked 200+ entities since 01/01/2012. Most of those were entities that I've already worked previous to this year. What I'd like to know is how many of those 200+ were all time new ones, never ever worked before. Is this doable?

Thanks

No problem.

Just set up a subaward for DXCC. Go to tools/setup/log fields. Locate the DXCC record. Find an empty subaward entry. Fill it out using the Filter button and DATE >= whatever. Be sure to do Awards/Update Awards Progress info.

This will cause all of the reports and online status check to work for your application. It will show confirmed, but just ignore it. That won't affect the Worked figure.

Alternately, you may use the INITIAL SELECT CRITERIA of the Awards report. Just hit Next Next Next until you get there.

Let me know if any questions.

Tnx/73,

Dennis

OK, I tried that both ways....no joy. It still reports every dxcc entity I've worked in 2012 (200+ entities). I doesn't tell me how many of those entities were all time new. It's not looking at 2012 and comparing it with previous years to filter out already worked entities. I'm looking only for all time new entities that I've worked in 2012.

Ok, sorry--I missed the "ALL TIME" new part.

Let me think of the best way to do this. Probably will require a new report.

Tnx/73,

Dennis
