In an earlier post, the size of the Logic9 installation file is given as greater than 120 Mbytes. Another post from a user indicates that the size of his file was closer to 140 Mbytes. The size of my downloaded file is 47,918 Kbytes. Did I get all of the file?

Yes, you are good. We removed the FCC database from the distribution. Just download the latest and greatest up-to-date data directly from the FCC using the tools/internet menu option.

After I download the FCC callbook with "Import FCC callbook", a window opens up asking me to open a file. What do I do with this?

Don't know what's going on. Works fine here by just clicking the download button and waiting and waiting :-)...
Make sure AUTOMATICALLY PROCESS AFTER DOWNLOAD is checkmarked. You can download the file from the FCC them import it in a separate step (would be useful if you did not have an internet connection on your shack computer but had one on another computer). Maybe you got into that mode somehow.
Or maybe the download failed for some reason? Try it again.
