Hello forum readers,

I want to buy a Dymo labelwriter for printing my QSL labels.
I'm wondering if there is someone here using the the Dymo labelwriter
in cooperation with Logic 8, and how this works.

Thanks!

I got a tech support call from someone using a Dymo label printer. He wanted the print darker, so we bolded everything. I think you will be fine with it.

Tnx & 73,

Hello Dennis,

Thanks for your quick assistance.

I was probably not clear enough with my question about the Dymo.
My interest was in how the process was structured in Logic.
Right now, if i make the choice "QSLing" - "QSL Labels" than i can select a label and
print out one or more labels. The printing will be done on the standard printer which
is selected in Windows, in my case a Canon i450. If i want to choose to print on a Dymo
labelprinter/writer i have to change the default printer in Windows to e.g. Dymo 450.

Running Logic 8 i only have one option for a Dymo label printing 3 QSO's in a row.
Now i want to change this to e.g. 5 QSO's and some additional remarks. Is it possible
to make my own QSL-label within/for Logic to make this happen for the Dymo or Brother labelwriters?

Thats what i was interested in.

Regards & 73's

Gerrit

Hi--

Yes, you can make a label that prints a single QSO. Try QSL LABELS ONE ACROSS or QSL LABELS ONE ACROSS BIGGER TYPE -- they may work as-is.

LOGic 9 allows you to set the default printer for a report. It also has an on-demand feature that spits a single QSO and Address label out to a label printer from the log screen if you want to do it as soon as you finish the QSO. I prefer the batch method myself, but it was a popular enhancement request.

Tnx & 73,
