I have recently gotten back into working the satellites. I soon noticed that a lot of my contacts were not being confirmed on LoTW. Another operator pointed out my error.

How do you log SAT contacts so the ADIF contains PROP_MODE and SAT_NAME in LOGic?? User Fields or is there a better way?

Hi Kyle, hope you are well !!

Logfields SATNAME (Adif SAT_NAME) and PROP MODE (Adif PROP_MODE) exist. Navigate to Tools/Setup/Log Fields for each and under the ADIF tab select the checkbox "Export when basic fields (for LOTW & eQSL upload) is selected for ADIF export". Uploads to LoTW should now include those ADIF fields.

Yes those are enabled. But I have no fields to enter the sat name or prop mode.

In your logform click the waiterman, don't they appear in the list of userdefined fields you can select from ??

Thanks don't know why I didn't see that. But kind of have it working now. Totally screwed up my logging screen adding them but I'll get it figured out.

Sorry your logform got messed up....I hate it when that happens !!!

Glad you got it though ! I'll be curious if the LoTW upload goes ok with those adif fields.

Okay I have Prop Name and SATNAME on my logging screen.

BUT why did the labels for CQZ and ITUZ disappear leaving the dropdown boxes?

They may be just off the form or buried, unlock the logform and try to stretch it bigger to see. Also check they didnt somehow get hidden (click on the trash can in the upper right). How many userfields do you have active in the logform ?? Click on the waiterman and see if CQZ and ITUZ are still associated to a userfield (under the column "Select field to change".

Thanks Brad, I stretched the screen to maximum view and CQZ nor ITUZ is NOT shown. I have tried relocating the field, deleting the field, rebooting computer, restarting LOGic

For as long as I have used LOGic I never looked at the trash can in the upper right. But CQZ nor ITUZ is listed as deleted.

5 userfields are being used. CNTY, IOTA, POTA, and now PROP MODE and SATNAME.

The dropdown boxes for CQZ and ITUZ are displayed and seem to work but the text CQZ and ITUZ is missing.

Yes CQZ and ITUZ are associated with a userfield. CQZ is #6 and ITUZ is #7

This all started with adding PROP NAME and SATNAME, as soon as I did that the field CQZ and ITUZ shifted and the field names disappeared. Puzzling, thanks for your help.

Bizarre to say the least....

If not too much trouble can you snapshot the logforms trashcan (hidden fields) and waiterman (user defined fields) ??
