After 20+ years of "silent-key", I am about to get back on air. Luckily, I have retained my older LOG.DBF and LOG.FPT files (from Logic 5 as I recall). How may I import/link these in Logic10 to reinstated my past 10K QSOs? (...without any data losses of course!)

Thank you.

Hi--

Welcome back!

Go to tools/import log data. Import LOGic 5-9.

Let me if any questions.

Tnx for using LOGic.

On the import, only the .DBF file can be selected. What about the data (notes) included on the .FPT file? Are these imported by selecting just the .DBF file? Apologies for the scrutiny but i need to make sure that all my past QSO data will follow me on LOGic 10! (...just made the purchase and waiting for the validation process!)

Thank you dear Dennis.

Hi--

Sorry, I forgot to mention the LOG.FPT file.

Just keep it in the same folder as log.dbf. Import log.dbf, and it will know to get the log.fpt. You don't need to be concerned about it other than to have it there.

Tnx & 73,
