Hello,
I am usung LOGic 8.0.104. When I open LOGic, my telent window doesn't open. I have to go FORMS > Telnet 1 everytime I open LOGic. Is there a setting I missed?

Thanks,
Vin

No, there is no setting. If it is open when you close LOGic, it should reopen when you start LOGic the next time.

This is all stored in FORM.INI. Start LOGic, make sure Telnet 1 is open, then close the program. Open it in Notepad and look for the [ENVIRONMENT] section. Under that you should see

Telnet1=Yes

If it says NO, then something isn't getting saved properly. Change it to Yes then it may open automatically for you.

ALSO, after you restart LOGic, look in the WINDOW menu. It could be that it is open and hiding behind something else.

Let us know what you find.

Tnx/73,

Hello Dennis,

I followed your instructions and Telnet1=No. I changed it to Yes and saved the FORM.INI file. I started LOGic 8 and my telnet window was there.

Thank you for the GREAT support !

Vin

....I spoke too soon. After a few times of opening LOGic, the telnet screen disappeeared. I opened FORM.INI and Telnet1=Yes changed back to Telnet1=No Confused

Ok, make sure it isn't open but hidden behind something else. Look in the Window menu. But that wouldn't explain why it would change the INI file to No, unless it failed to open for some reason, or it got closed somehow.

I think the best thing to do is call me and I can log in and take a look. I have had no other reports of this.

Tnx & 73,
