I am using version 10.0.2. Several versions ago the Terminal Function Keys were moved from the top to the right side of the Telnet form and organized vertically. As a result, the Telnet form is much longer than I would like and I can't fit it in the space on my window in which I used to put it. I don't need near that many Terminal Function Keys. How can I easily remove Terminal Function Keys that I don't use? What would be nice is if there was a check box in the Terminal Function Keys setup beside each terminal function key description that could be used to hide or display the Terminal Function Key on the form displayed on my screen, depending on whether the box was checked or not.

Hi Mark:

Thanks for your call regarding this. Sorry I neglected to answer. I remember reading it. Anyway....

In case someone else has the same question: We made a subtle change soon after we moved the function key buttons to the right. You may now hide the higher-numbered buttons by shrinking down the height of the form, covering some of the buttons.

Tnx for your suggestion.

Tnx for using LOGic.

I just installed Logic 10.0.5 ands see a bunch of blank buttons on the right hand side of Telnet 1. These were not in the previous version that I used. What are they and how do I use them or get rid of them?

Thanks, Bob N7IP

Hi Bob:

They used to be across the top of the form, showing the function key# only. It was requested that we show the actual label of the function key on the button instead of just the number. When we had just the number, you could see the label by hovering the mouse on the button. Functionally, it is exactly the same.

They are programmed in the log form. Click Forms/Setup/Terminal Function Keys.

Let me know if any questions.

Tnx & 73,

Dennis WN4AZY

PS The Help link on Forms/Setup/Terminal Function Keys is broken. I fixed it and it will be in the update. Meanwhile, search for

packet cluster and data terminal

Dennis, I agree with the previous post. The buttons take up way too much space and look really weird if they are not used. How can I delete them?
