I can't seem to print my log book. Can someone walk me through it. The manual at least for me is not that clear.

Click the Reports menu, then Log. Select the Log report. The rest is pretty self-explanatory. This is the report used as the exmaple in the REPORT WRITER section of Help. It explains the options.
