Uninstalling Logic8 after the Update to Logic9

Confused Once Logic9 is up and running and I am satisfied that it's safe to reclaim some space on my hard drive; Is there anything special I need to do to uninstall Logic8?

Nothing special -- just uninstall LOGic 8. As usual, you have to delete the LOGIC8 folder manually (we do this to keep people from accidentally deleting their data). There is a note to this effect that pops up.
