my 2 email providers are gmail, ,and att ........... both require SSL and a port number to send outgoing emails via their smtp servers. is there a way for me to send outgoing emails from LOGIC given these 2 constraints?

I believe so, have you tried setting it up?
Put in your server and select SSL.

yes, i tries "ssl" but would also need a place to indicate port number

After the server address, type ":port number" (san quotes)
Example:
my.mail.com:587

thanks. this might work, however gmail blocked the attewpt stating that "a non secure application" was attempting to log in. and recommended that while it could be allowed, that it was not a good idea.
