Have had no luck getting the driver listed for the TS-590 to work well.
Reads the radio once and then it does not track the radio as I change freq. on the band.

Seems to run fine with the TS-2000 legacy driver with polling, so I am doing fine with program, but just thought I would mention it.

I have this running with a RS-232 direct cable from the computer RS-232 port directly to the computer.
TRX-Manager works great with same settings, so I think my radio is okay.

running 9600 bps, 1 stop bit, RST / DTS high

Maybe I just have missed something ?

Thanks ! and thank you for the updates that keep coming.

Sounds like the AI; command is being ignored. This tells the rig to automatially update the compter when you change mode or freq. The Elecraft K3 uses the same initialization code. You might try that and see if you get different results. But unless I'm mistaken, you won't -- like I say, it is the same code.

Does the Kenwood 850 legacy driver work?

Tnx & 73,

DH,

I tried the K3 driver, and you are right - it does not follow the radio changes.

I also tried the 850 legacy, and that did not work - in fact, I tried every Kenwood driver that was listed in the pull-down list and none worked except the TS-2000. I have tried the radio pull-down drivers list # 29, 30, 53 and 54 with no luck.

Not to make that big of a deal out of it - I will just use the TS-2000, but wanted to let you know in case you get any other comments, or to see if there was something I was just not picking up on.

thanks
Walt
